Ergonomic Chairs have three distinct groupings according to their basic functions. Opposite is a quick guide to these functions to give an understanding of the main features of each different model.

Functions aside, each model will have a varying standard of operating control mechanism, seat foam and contours, as well as seat and back size. There are no inferior (extremely small) seats and backs fitted to our chairs!!

Height and adjustment is now via Gas Lift on all of our chairs.

    1.
Shape and size of chair seat and back.
    2. Size and quality of chair base.
    3. Quality and fitting of chair mechanism.
    4. Ease of chair adjustments.
    5. Warranty.
    6. Technology

Action Level 1

This action features a lever adjustable back rake (angle). The design is to encourage the user to sit in a upright position whilst working. Yet have the ability to change the back angle with a simple adjustment. Superior - action performing the same function but of a higher quality.

Action Level 2

FULLY ERGONOMIC - This action has an adjustable back angle combined with a tilting adjustable seat angle. This is operated via the one lever with the user positioning the seat and back position in the one movement.

SUPERIOR - Action performing the same function but of a higher quality, generally a more robust mechanism.

Action Level 3

The most advanced ergonomic models with have a mechanism far superior and with unique features over and above the level 1 and level 2 actions. This will vary from model to model, and we would suggest that you thoroughly examine any level 3 action chair. You will note that action is markedly larger and heavier and the chair more substantial. These chairs are recommended for 24 hour seating application.
