Executive Chairs have three distinct groupings
according to their basic functions. Opposite
is a quick guide to these functions to give
an understanding of the main features of each
different model.
Functions aside, each model will have a varying
standard of operating control mechanism, seat
foam and design. Executive chairs generally
have the same basic operating functions, regardless
of price. They all have gas height adjustment,
swivel action, and tilting action. However,
there are different methods of achieving these
operations.
1. Shape and size
of chair seat and back.
2. Size
and quality of chair base.
3. Quality
and fitting of chair mechanism.
4.
Ease of chair adjustments.
5. Warranty.
6.
Technology.

ACTION LEVEL 3 - The normal
chair actions are based around a chair stem.
A front pivot chair pivots from under the chair
front or knee area. The object is to remove
the direct pressure felt in a normal chair,
and gives the feeling of floating on air. The
most advanced models will have a mechanism far
superior and with unique features over and above
the level 1 and level 2 actions. This will vary
from model to model, and we would suggest that
you thoroughly examine any level 3 action chair.
You will note the the action is markedly larger
and heavier and the chair more substantial.
These chairs are recommended for 24 hour seating
application.
